A tool for the beautifully stuck
Your characters have opinions. Maybe ask them.
There comes a point in every writer's life, usually around page forty-seven, or possibly page twelve if you're having a particularly rough go of it, when the characters you've created simply stop cooperating.
They stand there, in the middle of a scene you've carefully constructed, and they refuse to say anything useful. It's as if they've formed a small, silent union. And you, their creator, their god, are left staring at a blinking cursor wondering if perhaps you should have gone into dentistry.
Now, what if (and stay with me here, because this is the good bit) what if you could simply talk to them? Not in the "pacing around your flat muttering dialogue at your cat" way that you've already perfected. But properly. Upload your script, and have an actual conversation with the characters you've written.
What MidStory does
Upload your script
Drop in a screenplay or stage play. MidStory reads it, understands the characters, and quietly forms opinions about all of them.
Chat with characters
Have a conversation with any character from your script. They'll respond in their voice, with their baggage, and their questionable life choices.
Script assistant
An assistant who's read your entire script and will politely point out the plot holes you've been pretending don't exist.
